Whether you are in the market for a new bike or just want to try out some of the best bikes in the world, Cyclist Track Days offer a unique experience to test the latest top-end bikes from the leading brands on the market.
Over the next few weeks we’re going to be running through some of the incredible bikes that you can test ride, starting off with the Van Rysel RCR.
Probably the most talked about bike of 2024, the RCR is the first racing bike from Decathlon’s Van Rysel cycling brand and is the bike that the Decathlon-AG2R La Mondiale pro team mostly rode during a massively successful first season under their new guise.
The RCR is a race-focussed all-round road bike, with a balance of light weight, aerodynamics and stiffness to help riders go as fast as possible in all conditions. It has been lauded because of its blend of competitive price and performance, and at Track Days you can test the same spec that Cyclist writer Laurence Kilpatrick reviewed: with a power meter-equipped SRAM Force AXS groupset, Zipp 404 Firecrest wheels and 28mm Michelin Power Cup tyres. That build retails for £5,000 and a size Large hit our scales at 7.8kg.
You can read Laurence’s full review here.
The Van Rysel RCR will be at the following Track Days events:
26th April 2025, Odd Down Cycle Track Bath,
17th May 2025, Lee Valley VeloPark London,
7th June 2025, The Brownlee Centre, Leeds
