Whether you’re looking for a new bike or just want to try out some of the best bikes in the world, Cyclist Track Days offer a unique experience to test ride the latest top-end bikes from the leading brands on the market.
The next bike in our rundown of the incredible bikes available to test ride at this years Track Days is the Trek Madone SLR.
Ridden by the Lidl-Trek men’s and women’s team, the Madone is Trek’s all-round road race bike, having undergone a radical transformation from aero bike to do-it-all bike just last year.
Cyclist editor Pete Muir reviewed the Madone just a few months ago and was taken aback by its speed. He was impressed by Trek’s ability to maintain the previous Madone’s aero credentials while significantly dropping its weight, and praised the new bike’s mix of rear-end comfort and front-end stiffness.
The bike you’ll be testing at the Cyclist Track Day in London will be the Trek Madone SLR 7 Gen 8, courtesy of Balfe’s Bikes, which is built with a Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset and Bontrager Aeolus Pro 51 aero wheels. Its claimed weight is 7.31kg for size ML and it’s on sale from Balfe’s Bikes for £8,000.
You can read Pete’s full review here.
The Trek Madone SLR will be at the following Track Days event:
17th May 2025, Lee Valley VeloPark London
